We create collections of wedding day images that are elevated and stand the test of time. This way, when styles change and trends fade, you will always love the way your wedding portraits look hanging over the fireplace.

We know that being in front of the camera isn't everyone's favorite thing (grooms, we're looking at you)! We will lead you through how to stand, where to look, and what to do with your hands because on your wedding day the LAST thing you should worry about is how to pose for your pictures.

With 8 years of experience under our belts we've seen it all, from dimly lit cathedrals to tornadoes at outdoor weddings (true story)! We are ready to capture your day beautifully no matter the circumstances!

I’m the one who started this thing! I shot my first wedding 43 days after my high school graduation. I dove right into google-ling, shadowing, studying, and learning every single thing I could about this craft I love so much. Over the last 8 wedding seasons we have grown carefully and intentionally, following the Lord’s leading. I am passionate about about business, relationships, and learning.

Meet Katie

my wedding was:

festive & family focused. We got married the weekend before Christmas in 2018!

my favorite wedding images:

Some of my favorite images are the ones of my grandparents that Niki Marie captured during our reception, and the shots of my 3 older sisters and I - my very favorite people!

My Wedding Planning Tip:

find one source of inspiration (for me it was the bridesmaids dresses) and take it from there!

life looks like:

Dan and I currently live in Grand Rapids where we are renovating our first home and spending as much time with our 24 nieces and nephews as possible. I can often be found cooking, reading business books, or scheming up my next project.

Favorite things & guilty pleasures:

Cheetos, coffee shops, office supplies, & finding new hobbies

My wedding day specialty:

Talking! Ha! My friends know I could chat with a brick wall, but on a wedding day this serves me well because I can make anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera! Don’t worry about how you are standing, looking, smiling - I’ll take good care of ya!

Hey there, I'm Lisa! I am the mom to four daughters, Katie being my youngest! I also have the joy of being a grandmother to 9 sweet grandkids! I started with Katie from the beginning as her second shooter and have loved growing the  business alongside her.  My passion lies with the designing, editing, and curating of photos and galleries.

Meet LISA

my wedding was:

My husband Tim and I will be celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary this year. Wow! That day seems like a long time ago, and I'm sure lots would be forgotten without pictures!

my favorite wedding images:

My favorite pictures are ones where we are feeding each other M&M's instead of cake. HaHa! I liked them better than cake!

my wedding planning tip:

Don't be afraid to be unique! Incorporate anything meaningful, no matter how small or silly it seems (M&M's). Don't worry "if this goes with that"! If you love it, it goes together!

life looks like:

Life today looks like spoiling my grandkids, rearranging my living room too many times, and soaking up all the design inspiration I can!

MY WEDDING DAY SPECIALTY

On wedding days I love capturing all the beautiful details the bride has worked so hard to choose. I always keep my eye on all the things happening around our brides that she doesn't always get to see.

Meet Jenny

Hi there! I’m Jenny, a long time photographer and mom of 3 that joined the team as a wedding photographer in March of 2018 after being a solo photographer for 7 years.

my wedding was:

Getting married the summer of 2009 was the beginning of the best years of my life that just keep getting better. Every bride I meet I instantly remember all those wonderful feelings and can’t help but share that excitement with them.

my favorite wedding images:

My husband Tim and I holding hands in the same place at the altar of the church that my parents were married, and that I grew up in, means a lot to me.

My Wedding Planning Tip:

Make decisions that mean something to you. Don’t just do it because everyone else does... It’s ok to mix it up or do away with things that don’t work for you or your fiancé.

life looks like:

All my wonderful memories of being a wife, photographer, and mommy of 3 are tied closely to our small and cozy house on the west side of Grand Rapids. Dance parties, Pizza, and family movie nights are a weekly occurrence here.

Favorite things & guilty pleasures:

Painting & drawing, donuts, and the deep corner of the couch that swallows me whole- along with a massive blanket and cup of tea, of course.

My wedding day specialty:

To serve is my main goal in all areas of my life and I pride myself on being able to anticipate the needs of all my brides. I work closely with a lot of different types of personalities during an exciting and sometimes stressful day and I like to think that I can befriend almost anyone I meet while juggling the very important job of wedding day photographer.

Hi! I’m Meg, I joined the team in 2017, while helping Katie bring her dreams to life, I have fallen in love with this business! I’ll also say, it’s pretty great working alongside one of your very best friends!

MEET MEG

my wedding was:

My husband and I got married June 2018. Our wedding day was truly our most favorite day, there is nothing like having all your friends and family cheering you on as you celebrate forever!

my favorite wedding images:

One of my very favorite images was during our ceremony as my Dad handed me off to Nick. I still get goosebumps when I think about the sweet significance that this one image captures.

My Wedding Planning Tip:

Consider what you and your fiance want your day to look like! For us, we wanted a laid back, God centered day of celebration with our family and friends! As you make your decisions, continue to remember what you want this day to be about!

life looks like:

Life with our little family is my greatest gift, I praise God for his sweet blessings! My husband and I live in a one hundred year old little bungalow near downtown Grand Rapids that we have been pouring our hearts into fixing up. Our little guy just turned one, and baby Anderson no. two will be joining the family in October! We can hardly wait!
